When people think of me, they often think of real estate, baking, cooking, and hosting open houses with homemade treats. But there’s another passion that has become a huge part of my life here in Los Cabos… that is Golf!

Since moving to Los Cabos, I’ve had the privilege of playing some of the most spectacular golf courses in the world — and I’m proud to say that along the way I’ve managed to lower my handicap to 13.

Golf has taken me across incredible destinations across the USA, Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and the Caribbean to name some. But there’s something very special about the courses here in Los Cabos. The more I played, the more I noticed something fascinating:

That’s where my two passions naturally come together — golf and real estate.

Why Los Cabos Is One of the World’s Best Golf Destinations

Los Cabos has quietly become one of the most desirable destinations in the world for golfers and luxury homebuyers alike.

Within a relatively small region, you’ll find courses designed by legendary architects like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Weiskopf, Tom Fazio, David Love III, Fred Couples, and Tiger Woods. By the end of 2026, Ernie Els will have also designed the Oleada Golf Links course (we will talk about that in my next blog).

These courses offer dramatic desert landscapes, oceanfront fairways, and year-round sunshine — a combination that is difficult to find anywhere else.

For many visitors, what starts as a golf trip quickly becomes something more: a vision of owning a home in Los Cabos.

Golf Courses I’ve Experienced — and the Communities Around Them

As both a real estate professional and an avid golfer, I’ve been fortunate to play many of the best courses in the region. Experiencing these courses firsthand has given me a deeper understanding of the lifestyle and real estate opportunities surrounding them.

Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club
Located in San José del Cabo, this beautiful course features a unique 27-hole facility design between Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. The surrounding community offers stunning homes, ocean views, a marina, beach club, and exclusive neighborhoods such as Fundadores. It’s a wonderful blend of golf, coastal living, and luxury real estate.

Querencia Golf Club
Querencia is one of the most exclusive private golf communities in Los Cabos. Apart from golf, the club features an amazing Beach Club, tennis, yoga, hiking trails, a dog park, and an organic farm. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course itself is breathtaking, but what truly stands out is the sense of community and the spectacular homes overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

Palmilla Golf Club
Often called “Grand Dame of Los Cabos golf,” this was Jack Nicklaus’ first designed course in Latin America. It offers a 27-hole layout across three nines: Arroyo, Mountain (private and owned by One&Only Palmilla), and Ocean (semi-public).

Quivira
Known as “The Pebble Beach South of the Border,” designed by Jack Nicklaus, offering dramatic granite cliffs and Pacific Ocean views from nearly every hole.

Diamante Cabo San Lucas
Home to the famous Dunes Course designed by Davis Love III, El Cardonal by Tiger Woods, The Oasis short course, and soon the Legacy Club. Extraordinary beachfront residences and strong investment potential define this community.
